So…
Since I posted those little Vocaloid thingies on dA *coughandprettymuchsinceIstartedobsessingwithvocaloidscough*, I felt again the urge to draw things
And the good thing is that it’s not just Vocaloid I want to draw (lol), but other things too xD
I even went and sketched an Ishtera picture! It’s been a while since I drew them, so much I had to look for references on the outfits, haha. Seriously, I couldn’t remember exactly how my OWN characters’ outfits looked like!
So… I set myself a goal:
Finish one picture every day.
It doesn’t matter what is it: a chibi, a face, fanart, original, work, anything.
As long as it is one a day.

I see a Rin in kimono X3
I haven’t dedicated this much thought to a sketch since…. dunno, Ishtera illustrations? xD; I fail at being an illustrator, lol.
Now I’m scared I’ll ruin it at one point, lol. It’s going to be scary xD; *is allergic to detailed pictures*
If this comes out nice, I’ll make myself a wallpaper with it >O
They’re in really low res, and were drawn very quickly… I wan’t loking for anything fancy, really ^^;
I’ll draw a decent fanart of those two one of these days… I swear…

I should open my commissions again. But my blog is not very visited, so I was thinking that maybe I should go and reopen my deviantART account, make some fanarts and offer commissions again…

So Suppi got himself a new monitor, to replace his old 17″ CRT (the same one I currently have). He bought a 20″ widescreen Samsung monitor and he’s in love with it, haha.
I went to his place yesterday and it looks great, indeed :3
He spoiled me that, if he doesn’t run out of money after buying the rest of the computer parts, he’d get me a new screen for my birthday so I can get rid of my huge CRT ^___^ He also lent me some money to buy more RAM, so now I went from 1GB to 3GB ! *does the happy dance*
On an unrelated side note, I hate the way my characters look for my Crappy VN idea, so I’ll redesign them later today, after I’m done with working on Clara’s sprite for The Flower Shop.

On the question “how do I start my story?”, I was taught it has to start with an “image”. A little description of what’s going on (or an image, if you’re doing something visual) and then you have to make something happen to the main character that you know is not ordinary.
That’s called the “catalyst”. Something happened that will make the whole story start moving into its main conflict/theme.
On that subject, I found an interesting article :3
I’m getting back on track with the art, finally! I’m currently working on the second pose of the 3rd girl~ :3 After I’m done drinking my tea, I’ll go take a shower and start with the coloring ^^ Doing lineart is FINALLY not annoying anymore thanks to Painter <3 Seriously, inking in photoshop has always made me cry and whine and throw tantrums, but Painter is love!!~
